Farmers Branch neighbor feud escalates to sign in woman's yard

FARMERS BRANCH, TX (KTRK) -- A feud between neighbors in one Dallas suburb is literally turning heads thanks to a controversial sign.

It all started with a complaint about barking dogs in the city of Farmers Branch.

Homeowner Lisa Price says she installed a doggie door and kept her dogs inside at night to satisfy her neighbor.

But then he installed cameras and pointed them at her home.

She says the final straw was when she received a citation for her barking dogs.

So she put up the sign that says, "HOME FOR SALE BY OWNER BECAUSE MY NEIGHBOR'S A D********."

Price said, "We don't know what else to do. We obviously had to be pushed pretty far to go to this extreme, and so we just thought, maybe if we did that, that he would catch on and leave us alone. All we want to do is be left alone."

City officials say the sign meets ordinance requirements so there is nothing they can do.
