Motorcyclist survives fiery accident in West Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A motorcycle rider was involved in a fiery accident in West Houston.

Police say the rider of that motorcycle was speeding as he took the ramp from the Katy Freeway to West Loop.

That is when officers say he lost control and laid the bike down. The bike hit a barrier before bursting into flames.

The rider was wearing a helmet and protective gear. His injuries were minor.
