Motorcyclist killed in wreck on Southwest Freeway
A motorcyclist was killed last night in downtown Houston after a wreck with an SUV

HOUSTON -- A motorcyclist was killed in an accident on the Southwest Freeway early this morning.

The accident happened downtown on US-59 southbound at Fannin.

Investigators say an SUV stopped in the left lane of traffic around 2am. A motorcycle rear-ended it.

The motorcycle rider was killed. Two people in the SUV were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

While they were at the crash scene, police spotted another driver going the wrong way on the entrance ramp at Fannin. He was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.
