ARVADA, CO (KTRK) -- Two employees were fired from a Colorado Wendy's restaurant after a woman found a racist note inside her child's kids meal.
Manige Osowski says her daughter found a pack of playing cards inside her kids meal bag in lieu of a toy. Inside that pack of cards was a handwritten note which included the N-word.
After an investigation, two employees were let go and the restaurant apologized to the family. But, Osowski, who staged a protest outside the restaurant, said it was too little too late.
"My child is now aware of what racism is, and what that word means," Osowski says. "And it's because of this card."
