MCSO investigating fatal stabbing at apartment complex in The Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is investigating the stabbing death of a 31-year-old man at a Woodlands-area apartment complex Friday night.

According to Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace Wayne Mack, MCSO dispatchers received a call around 5:45 p.m. about a disturbance at the Avana Woodridge Apartments located at 1475 Sawdust Road between Grogan's Mill and Sawmill Road.

The man was transported to Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital in critical condition where he later died. Mack declined to release the victim's name pending notification of family members.
