Mandatory evacuation for Rosenberg residents lifted

ROSENBERG, TX (KTRK) -- The mandatory evacuation for Rosenberg residents living near the Brazos River has been lifted, according to city officials.

The order was for people in the city south of the river along Avenue A and 6th Street.

Even though resents are being allowed back home, officials caution that this is not an 'all-clear.' Residents are being urged to stay up to date on the level of the river.
