Man visiting family killed in Houston during Super Bowl weekend

FBCSO is looking for a man last seen leaving a pub.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A Louisiana man visiting family in the Fort Bend County area was shot to death over the weekend. Alvin Reid vanished after leaving the Bourbon Street Pub in the 12900 block of Westheimer Road with a friend.

His relatives were worried when they were unable to reach him, and filed a missing persons report.

Reid was found shot in a grassy area of an apartment complex parking lot in the 3360 block of Alice on Sunday evening. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics.

His killer hasn't been caught. Witnesses reported seeing a gray four-door sedan leaving the scene.
