Driver leads police on slow speed chase
The pursuit went all the way from Pasadena to northwest Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- One man was trying to get away from police but he wasn't in a rush. Officers say the man led them on a slow speed chase from Pasadena to north Houston.

It all started around 10pm Friday when Pasadena police received a report of a possible armed driver who was assaulting his passenger.

Officers tried to pull the driver over but he didn't stop. Pasadena police and Harris County Sheriff's deputies followed him all the way out Highway 290.

At several times during the chase the driver stuck his arms outside of the vehicle.

The chase eventually came to an end near Senate when police put down spike strips and blew out the man's tires. He now faces multiple charges.
