BAYTOWN, TX (KTRK) -- A Baytown man is in jail, accused of tying up his girlfriend and leaving her in his mobile home for several days.

Travis Young has been charged with assault -- family violence and unlawful restraint. Thursday, Young was denied bond on the assault charge and issued a $100,000 bond on the restraint charge.

The 31-year-old victim sustained minor injuries and has been working with Baytown Police Department's Domestic Violence Unit.

Neighbor Misty Taylor called 911, saying she got worried when she didn't hear from the victim.

"I had to do what I had to do," Taylor explained. "I don't stand for it. I'm not going to let my friend get hurt, especially when she's got three kids."
