No bond for suspected killer
Jullian Villegas, 19, is accused of killing Anthony Johnson last Friday

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man charged with capital murder in the shooting death of a man outside a north Harris County bar made a brief court appearance this morning.

Jullian Villegas, 19, is accused of killing Anthony Johnson last Friday. In court, a judge ordered Villegas held without bail until trial. This, after Villegas admitted to police to shooting Jonson in the parking lot of Chula's sports cantina last Friday.

Surveillance video obtained by ABC-13 shows Villegas, Johnson and three other men inside the bar. Police say the men had been drinking the night before.

After the men left the restaurant, Villegas pulled a gun and shot Johnson multiple times. He then fled in the victim's car.

From the time of the shooting to his arrest, Villegas was involved in two hit-and-run accidents and a police chase before he was apprehended on foot by Houston police.

Villegas later reportedly admitted to shooting Johnson. No word yet as to why he shot the man. If convicted, Villegas could face the death penalty.
