SUGAR LAND, TX (KTRK) -- Sugar Land police are looking for the suspects who attacked a 70-year-old man who met them after they expressed interested in the car he was selling on Craigslist.

The attack happened Tuesday at about 10:15 am, according to investigators, in the parking lot of First Colony Mall.

"I was so shocked... God saved me. I'm so grateful," said Feroz Ali Chranya, a local business man who had posted his 2005 CTS Cadillac for sale. He says a woman responded to the ad and they agreed to meet outside the food court at the mall. He says the woman arrived with another man and he agreed to take them for a test drive.

Chranya says the man was sitting in the backseat when he hit him twice with the butt of a handgun. According to police, the suspects kicked Chranya out of the vehicle as they drove by Macy's. As he scurried to safety into the store, the suspects drove off in his car.

According to investigators, the thieves are believed to be a woman who told the victim she was from Spain. She's said to be about 5'4"-5'5", about 30 years old, weighing 140-145 pounds with short to medium length brown hair. The man is believed to be 5'8"-5'9", 200-205 pounds with short dark hair and was wearing jeans and a t-shirt.

Chranya, who says he is a heart patient, says he only suffered some minor bruising and scrapes in the ordeal. "I was so shocked," he said.
