Little girl says first lady Michelle Obama looks too young to be 51

WASHINGTON (KTRK) -- A lot of people say, kids say the darnedest things and sometimes say the most inappropriate things. Well, that turned out to be true for one girl visiting the White House -- but she redeemed herself.

According to ABC News, Anaya Brodie was visiting the White House Wednesday for its annual "Take Our Sons and Daughters to Work Day" when she asked first lady Michelle Obama, "How old are you?"

Obama quickly answered, "I'm 51" to the crowd of youngsters in the East Room during her question-and-answer session.

But, then, the girl gave another response.

"What? What does that mean? What's that look?" Obama asked. "Say that again? Give her the mic," the first lady said, talking to a member of her staff. "What was that, babe? I didn't hear you."

"You look too young for a 51-year-old," the girl said.

"Thank you!" the first lady exclaimed. "You should come up here and give me a hug. Come give me a hug for that one."

The little girl then ran up to the stage and threw her arms up and the two hugged.
