Deputies say a man smashed a vehicle into a liquor store to steal booze

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Deputies say a man in northwest Harris County used his car to smash into the front of a liquor store to steal several cases of alcohol.

The theft happened around 4am this morning at the Louetta Discount Liquor Store in the 9000 block of Louetta Road near Old Louetta Road.

The store owner says the crook escaped with $200 worth of liquor and made damages to the store worth $6,000.

Nothing else was taken from the store.
