HPD officer involved in multi-vehicle accident near Medical Center

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A driver says a Houston police officer drove through a red light and slammed into another vehicle. The officer then hit a third vehicle.

The accident happened on South Main near the Texas Medical Center.

It's unclear if the officer had his emergency lights on. No one was hurt.

Authorities are not sure if any charges will be filed.
