Armored truck guard shot in north Houston.

Two men are on the loose after shooting an armored truck guard in north Houston.

The FBI says a man dressed in head to toe tactical gear walked up to one of the guards who was leaving a Bank of America branch and opened fire on him with a high powered rifle.

This happened on North Shepherd near the Garden Oaks area.

That injured guard was able to get inside the armored truck and shut the door. Then, the driver of the truck backed up, away from the bank and the shooter.

The FBI says the shooter took off to a getaway car parked behind the bank near homes. It was described as a blue Honda.

Another car, a white Jeep, was discovered in the bank parking lot with the driver side door left open. It is a stolen car and police say possibly another suspect's car.

Natasha Barrett spoke to the driver of the armored truck. He told her he is very shaken up, but OK.
