Home invasion ends with man shot in the back

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police say three men are on the run after a violent home invasion in southwest Houston.

A man was shot in the back during the robbery just after midnight at the Coral Hills Apartments on Beverly Hill Street at Unity Drive.

The victim was rushed to the hospital, but is expected to survive.

Investigators said the suspects forced their way inside the apartment unit, and got away with some electronics.

All they know for now is that the suspects were all dressed in red.

HPD is now looking for those three men.
