Hit-and-run driver sought after woman struck in northwest Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police are searching for a driver who hit a 44-year-old woman walking along FM 1960 in northwest Houston.

The accident happened near Mills Road.

She was taken to Ben Taub hospital in critical condition. Police say she has head trauma.

There were no witnesses.

Police say they think the vehicle was a silver or gray SUV.
