HCSO: One dead after car slams into home in NE Harris County

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Harris County sheriff deputies confirm the driver who crashed into a home in northeast Harris County died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The incident happened just after 5:30 pm in the 11000 block of Clear Fork. The driver apparently shot himself while driving and then crashed into the home.

No one inside the home was injured. No other details were immediately available.
