Hazmat crews on scene of 100-gallon acid leak in South Houston
Hazmat crews are on the scene of a 100-gallon acid spill in South Houston.

SOUTH HOUSTON, TX (KTRK) -- Hazmat crews are on the scene of a small chemical spill in South Houston.

According to the Houston Fire Department, 100 gallons of hydrochloric acid leaked out of a tanker truck with two leaky valves. The spill happened on the 2020 block of Houston Boulevard.

One valve has been corrected; the other continues to leak.

No injuries or damage have been linked to the spill.
