Gulf Freeway reopens following deadly motorcycle accident

LEAGUE CITY, TX (KTRK) -- The Gulf Freeway outbound lanes at FM-646 are back open following a deadly accident involving a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle.

Police say around 2:30am this morning, the driver of a passenger car struck the motorcycle from the rear. The motorcycle rider was killed on impact.

Police have not said what may have led to the crash or if the driver of the car will face charges.
