Grandmother forgotten in wheelchair
Rosario Sanchez, 98, was left at DFW Airport strapped to a wheelchair for 90 minutes.

DALLAS, TX (KTRK) -- It was a terrible travel experience for a grandmother coming to visit her family in Texas from Spain.

Rosario Sanchez, 98, has traveled to her daughter's home in Gainesville for years. Sanchez said when she arrived at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, she had an attendant to push her in a wheelchair to meet her family. Unfortunately, she was left unnoticed, strapped to the wheelchair and unable to move for 90 minutes.

Another attendant noticed and finally brought her to family.

"She just keep saying I'm not coming anymore," daughter Rosa McElreath said. "She's been coming for 45 years."

American Airlines said they're contacting the contractor, Airserv, and taking the matter "very seriously."
