Golf cart battery thief caught on camera in Richmond

RICHMOND, TX (KTRK) -- Fort Bend County sheriff's deputies are asking for the public's help to find a suspect caught on a surveillance camera stealing 11 electric golf cart batteries from a store in Richmond in May.

Authorities say the theft happened around 10:45pm on May 22 at Richmond Equipment in the 4800 block of FM 2218.

Law enforcement says man is between the ages of 16 and 20 with a crew-style haircut, believed to be around 5'6". Also, in the video, the suspect is seen wearing a pair of silky, knee-length basketball shorts with a V-neck shirt.
