Officials say a juvenile female escaped from a car in Montgomery County after she was reportedly abducted by a man.

The incident happened on Tuesday at approximately 6:40pm near a residence in the 16000 block of Holly Lane East, in Montgomery, Texas.

Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Patrol Division were called out to the scene of a reported kidnapping. The juvenile female was apparently chasing a pet down the street on Holly Lane East when a dark colored 4-door passenger car stopped near her.

A male driver reportedly opened the passenger side door and offered the juvenile a ride, which she refused. The male then reportedly grabbed the juvenile by her arm, pulling her into the vehicle, and then proceeded to drive away.

According to authorities, the male driver took her to an open field surrounded by trees and stopped the car. The juvenile female managed to escape from the vehicle and fled on foot.

"I just got out as soon as he stopped. When I got out he started yelling something but I didn't hear him cause I just kept on running," the girl told Eyewitness News.

An off-duty peach officer later located the juvenile hiding in the shrubs.

Several units responded to the location but the suspect was never located.

Descriptions of the suspect is a white male between 30 and 50 years of age with blonde hair, brown eyes, and a beard. The suspect was reportedly wearing an orange striped polo-style shirt and blue jeans.

The juvenile told authorities that the man had a, "skull", tattoo visible on his left arm.

An investigation is underway. The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is asking anyone with information to call the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division at 281-297-6510 or Montgomery County Crime Stoppers.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest or indictment of a felony crime. Call 800-392-STOP (7867).
