Friendswood police bust two parties with underage drinking

FRIENDSWOOD, TX (KTRK) -- Friendswood police are alerting parents about underage drinking parties after they cited dozens of minors.

Officers busted two underage drinking parties early Saturday morning and early Saturday night. Police say both were thrown by teenagers whose parents were out of town.

Police ended up handing out 35 citations for underage drinking. Three people were also arrested.
