LIBERTY, TX (KTRK) -- Feral hog experts have been called in to help stop the wild animals from tearing up a high school football field.

The hogs have been tearing up the field at Liberty High School, enough that the athletic director is worried about athletes getting injuries.

Trappers have set up feeders in the woods behind the football field. And they've captured pictures of as many as 20 hogs.

Once they get used to the feeders, they plan to add the traps, which they can drop remotely.
