The woman who shared the video with ABC13 said, "It was a very hard decision for me to agree to give the video to the media, because I hate to see my dad that way, but I really hope it touches someone's heart to come forward and say something."

The 51-year-old security guard, Rene Almeida, was shot and killed on April 18, 2014. He had been working for two weeks as a security guard at the Leawood Condominiums when police say a man showed up at the apartments on a black motorcycle and tried to get in.

Almeida did not allow him past the security shack, and police say the suspect got angry and killed him. Almeida leaves behind five children and 15 grandchildren.

The only description we have of the suspect is that he is tall and slender, and was wearing a black motorcycle helmet.
