Police removed dozens of weapons from a bingo hall in southern Houston during a raid on Wednesday afternoon.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Harris County Sheriff's deputies pulled guns, ammo and even body armor out of a bingo parlor today. The unusual scene took place at "Bingo Paradise" at 1504 College Ave in the city of South Houston.

Exclusive Eyewitness News video shows law enforcement agents taking away evidence and loading it up into a box truck.

Our crews also witnessed two women being hauled away in handcuffs. The sheriff's office would only say they helped execute a search warrant.

The Harris County District Attorney's office told abc13 they are the lead agency on the case. They said this is a part of a larger investigation into "organized crime." They hope to release more information by the end of the week.

Michael Terry showed up at the scene. He said he provides janitorial services to the business. Terry explained his wife is a manager at the bingo hall. He did not know where she was.

"I'm upset. I want to know where my wife is," said Terry. "I got a knock on the door at 7:30 this morning. My 13-year-old son said, 'Hey. It's the police.' They told her, 'Do you know you have a warrant out for you?'"

Reporter Steve Campion is on scene. We'll have live reports starting on the news at 4:00 p.m.
