Deputies seek driver who caused patrol car to flip
Deputies are looking for a driver responsible for a violent crash in north Houston

HARRIS COUNTY, TX (KTRK) -- Deputies are looking for the driver accused of slamming into a deputy's patrol car, causing it to flip overnight.

The violent crash happened around midnight on Bammel North Houston and West Richey Road.

Deputies said the driver was speeding, ran a red light, and then hit the cruiser.

The deputy's patrol vehicle spun out of control, hit a signal light pole, and flipped over.

The deputy only had minor injuries, but was forced to crawl out of the vehicle after the crash.

There is no word on what kind of vehicle the suspect was driving.
