Deadly crash closes portion of I-10 westbound for hours

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A deadly crash shut down a portion of I-10 westbound for several hours.

Officials said one woman was killed in the crash that involved three vehicles.

It happened on I-10 between Eldridge Parkway and Dairy Ashford Road just after 3:00 Sunday morning.

Two other people were taken to the hospital and are said to be in stable condition.

It's not clear what caused the crash.
