Crooks smash into north Houston store, steal money from ATM

Police are looking for a man and woman who smashed their way into a convenience store to steal from an ATM.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police are looking for a man and woman who smashed their way into a convenience store to steal from an ATM.

It happened around 4:00am this morning at a Texaco station located in the 9400 block of the North Freeway at W Mount Houston.

Police an adult male crashed a stolen Ford F-250 pickup into the store. The man and a female accomplice then went inside the store and were able to remove the cash box from the ATM.

Both suspects fled in a gold colored Honda and are still at large.

The clerk, who was on duty at the time but wasn't injured, tells Eyewitness News that his personal vehicle was also damaged during the robbery.
