Crews battling grass fires in Montgomery and Liberty Counties

CUT-N-SHOOT, TX -- Several brush fires are burning across southeast Texas.
Sky Eye HD flew over a couple of them this afternoon. One, which is about 30 acres big is on the border of Liberty and Montgomery County in Plum Grove. It's an area that's apparently being turned into a subdivision, though there are no fire hydrants nearby.
Water is having to be brought in to battle the flames. Crews from Plum Grove, Cut-n-Shoot and Montgomery County are on the scene.
We found another fire burning near Lake Conroe in Montgomery County.
At this point, no word on how the fires started.
