Club Gator in north Houston catches fire

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A north Houston nightclub suffered damaged after it caught fire early this morning.

Club Gator on Elysian and Euel had already closed for the night before the fire started around 4am.

When crews arrived, flames were coming from the building. Firefighters entered the club and learned that no one was inside.

The club was badly damaged. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
