HUMBLE, TX (KTRK) -- Valero gas station employees are cleaning up a big mess Friday morning after thieves rammed a truck into the store and took off with an ATM.

It happened just before 6am at the Valero on 8011 E. North Belt in Humble.

Surveillance video captured the entire smash and grab. It shows a white truck crashing backwards into the gas station. Police say they rammed into the store four times before finally getting in.

Suddenly, three people in dark clothing wearing masks rushed out of the vehicle and into the store. They went straight for the ATM and are seen in the video pulling it from the rubble. The suspects threw the ATM into the back of the truck and drove off.

Mari Beasely was working when it happened. She said she hid in the freezer to call police and her supervisor.

"I heard a noise like boom! I thought it was the ice machine," Beasely said. "I see the wall has been busted and I see men grabbing stuff and I seen they were taking the ATM machine."

Beasely said she's scared to work the overnight shift.

"I was scared. I'm not used to this," she said.

Beasely said the thieves didn't appear to take anything else from the store except the ATM.
