AUSTIN, TX (KTRK) -- Three men were arrested this week after a child sex sting operation in Crockett, Texas.

The operation, conducted by the Texas Attorney General's Office and the Houston County Sheriff's Office, was aimed at exposing child predators who travel to have sex with minors they solicit online.

Alan Ray Brown, 57, of Longview; Dana Ray Killian, 48, of Palestine; and Richard Brent Allred, 51, of Lufkin, were arrested in the sting. The arrests come after they arrived at a predetermined location to have sex with a child, the Texas Attorney General's Office says.

In a press release, Paxton is quoted saying, "Unfortunately, the dangers of the world can infiltrate any home via computers, tablets, or even a phone. I am grateful for the individuals working in our Child Exploitation Unit and the dedicated law enforcement officials they work with who bring individuals like these to justice."
