All clear given at TSU after chemical leak causes evacuation at science building

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- An all clear was given at Texas Southern University after a chemical leak caused an evacuation of part of the campus.

Hazmat crews with the Houston Fire Department arrived to the scene and evacuated the fourth floor of the science building just before 10:30 a.m.

We're told the chemical involved was acetyl chloride, which is a colorless, fuming liquid with a pungent odor.

No injuries or damaged has been reported.
