Channelview man arrested in Baytown double shooting

BAYTOWN, TX (KTRK) -- A man is now in police custody, suspected in a double shooting in Baytown on August 2.

Philip Hickman, 22, of Channelview, was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Detectives found Hickman in the 900 block of Leadenhall in Channelview. He was arrested without incident, according to Baytown police.

A former person of interest in the case, Robert Melvin, was found and is no longer of interest in the case.
