Cars vandalized during quinceanera celebration in Montgomery Co.

NEW CANEY, TX (KTRK) -- Vandals spray painted about 40 cars at a quinceanera celebration last night in Montgomery County.

Celebrations in the 21000 block of McCleskey Road were interrupted when someone went outside and discovered several cars had been vandalized.

Montgomery County Sheriff's deputies are investigating.

One partygoer, Samuel Isaac Limon, said, "Yesterday they had an altercation here with some young men. They were getting ice and they weren't supposed to. We're thinking it was them because there was a truck that took off with some kids laughing in it."

The interruption was particularly difficult for the girl celebrating her 15th birthday.

Limon said, "It was a little disappointing for her because everybody was starting to worry about the cars and they didn't worry about her so everybody left her inside by herself."
