Bride-to-be delighted with wisdom tooth engagement ring

A California man proposed to his fiance with a piece of himself - his wisdom tooth.

Lucas Unger had his wisdom teeth pulled when he was 17 years old.

He and his girlfriend, Carlee Leifkes, recently started talking about getting married. But instead of getting a diamond, he went to the dentist. He had one of his wisdom teeth cleaned and sealed. Then he took it to a jeweler, who turned it into a ring.

Leifkes is delighted with her unusual engagement ring.

"We're into oddities," she said. "The more different the better."

They plan to marry later this month in Las Vegas. An Elvis impersonator will perform the ceremony.
