Texas Equusearch is looking for the body of a woman presumed to be murdered.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- We are getting a first look at the man charged with murder for his role in the disappearance of his 26-year-old girlfriend.

Miguel Angel Buezo, 28, has been accused of shooting his girlfriend Karen Ramirez, according to court documents.

Equusearch volunteers are concentrating on searching for Ramirez's body in southeast Houston, less than two miles from where she lived with Buezo.

"I think he got rid of her quickly. There are things in the investigation that we cannot share," Tim Miller with Equusearch said.

Police said Ramirez was last heard from while she was out with Buezo at a club, where the two got into a fight and then left to an unknown location.

Police investigate disappearance of 26-year-old Karen Ramirez:

A Houston woman has been missing since March 24.

A vehicle registered to Ramirez, who has been missing since March 24, was found around a week later in the 8000 block of Tilgham St., officials said.

Police said when they opened the car's driver-side door they found a large amount of blood on and under the driver's seat.

Police said Buezo possibly fled to Honduras on Sunday, March 26.
