Boy, 11, missing since Tuesday night found safe

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A mother's 11-year-old son disappeared and was missing for over 24 hours before being returned home safe last night.

Cedric Derbigney disappeared sometime after 2:30pm Tuesday playing video games in his apartment on Bissonnet near Ketchwood. He was wearing a black and white striped shirt, black jeans, and tan shoes.

"Cedric, Your mom, your dad, your family, we miss you and we love you. And we just want you to come home. Whatever you think that we might get upset, we won't. We love you, we want you to come home safe," his mother pleaded Wednesday night.

Several hours later, the mother said his son came back home. She says someone dropped him off, but she is not sure who. She is trying to figure out where he's been.

Authorities never issued an Amber Alert.
