Big rig slams into pole, causes Comcast outage in Rosenberg

ROSENBERG, TX (KTRK) -- A big rig hit a pole in Rosenberg, felling power lines along the roadway.

The crash, according to Rosenberg Police, is affecting Comcast customers in the area of Avenue I & Millie St. Phone, TV, and internet service are out.

It's unclear how many homes are affected.

Officials say the outage is expected to be fixed in three to five hours.

The big rig driver's condition is unknown at this time.
