Bar fight spills out to gunfire in street in northeast Harris County

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The Harris County Sheriff's office is investigating a shooting in northeast Harris County.

It happened around midnight in the 5100 block of East Sam Houston Parkway North.

Eyewitnesses say an argument happened inside the "Moonlight" lounge. When those involved were told to go outside, the argument turned into a fight.

Witnesses say shots were fired, leaving one man in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. Witnesses also say a medical examiner was called to the scene.

The shooting is still under investigation.
