LA MARQUE, TX (KTRK) -- An autopsy report is expected on a La Marque woman police say was killed last week by her teen son.

Nita Moseley was killed over the weekend. Over the past few days, we have learned little by little how the crime may have unfolded between mother and son.

Authorities confirmed that Moseley was expecting a child when her 14-year-old son allegedly killed her.

A family friend said she knew the boy when he was younger. abc13 caught up with that woman, who said she often was called to care for him.

The pregnancy could qualify the case for capital murder charges, but the district attorney has not said if that will happen yet.
