Authorities search for suspect in SW Houston robbery

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston Police Department and Crime Stoppers need the public's assistance in identifying a suspect responsible for an aggravated robbery in southwest Houston.

Police say the suspect entered the store, located in the 8100 block of Kirby Drive, around 10:30am Friday. After asking a store for a new game, the suspect went around the counter with a gun.

The suspect demanded money out of the register and fled with the money and game in a black Dodge Charger, according to authorities.

The suspect, who faces aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon charge, is described as a black male.

Crime Stoppers is paying up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging or arrest of the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call 713-222-TIPS.
