Police: Drug dealer posing as firefighter arrested
A man accused of posing as a firefighter in Montgomery County has been arrested as he was on his way to a drug deal.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX (KTRK) -- Investigators in Montgomery County want to know how long an accused drug dealer has been pretending to be a firefighter.

A deputy pulled over Christopher Cassidy on Tuesday after he was seen speeding and driving erratically.

Cassidy allegedly showed the officer an ID for the Bear Creek Volunteer Fire Department. When the deputy asked who his fire chief was, he said he didn't know.

The deputy says Cassidy later admitted he was on his way to a drug deal when he was stopped.

Investigators are working to determine whether anyone else has seen him posing as a firefighter.
