Power out across Cleveland
A FedEx truck hit a utility pole, knocking power lines down on top of buses at Cleveland High School

CLEVELAND, TX (KTRK) -- Thousands of people are without power in Liberty County after an accident involving a FedEx truck.

That FedEx truck hit a utility pole at around 1pm, knocking power lines down on top of school buses and other vehicles in the parking lot of the Cleveland High School. The accident even caused some minor fires.

In all, 48 bus routes were delayed because of the outage. It's also affecting businesses. You can't get gas anywhere in the city and everything from the local McDonald's to Walmart are closed.

Entergy crews continue to restore power. The good news is no one was hurt.
