SUGAR LAND, TX -- Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers will pay a cash reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrators in a series of Burglary of a Motor Vehicle cases at daycare facilities.

As many as seven cases have been linked to at least one perpetrator and there may be more. The perpetrators watch for parents who take their children into daycare centers, then approach the vehicle and gain entry. They grab purses and other items left in the vehicles while the parents are inside the daycares.

Purses and wallets are the main target, and in some cases, credit cards were used to fraudulently acquire cash from banks.
