99-year-old woman arrested to fulfill bucket list

A nearly 100-year-old Dutch woman fulfilled a wish on her bucket list by getting arrested.

The woman named Annie says she had always wanted to "experience a police cell from within."

Police arrested and booked her into a jail cell in the Netherlands town of Nijmegen-Zuid last week.

The bizarre photo shoot was organised by Annie's niece, who got in touch with the Politie Nijmegen-Zuid force in the east of the Netherlands.

She told them her aunt wanted to tick "getting arrested" off her bucket list.

Annie was then driven to the police station and locked in a cell - officers even slapped some handcuffs on her for the full effect.

They posted the story on the department's Facebook page and included several pictures of the smiling centenarian.
