Police: Man armed with knife entered UH town home, exposed himself

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The University of Houston is issuing an alert after reports of a man armed with a pocket knife entered a campus townhouse and exposed himself.

It happened Saturday morning at around 8:40am. UH police say the unknown man entered an unlocked residence at Bayou Oaks. The suspect reportedly displayed the pocket knife, exposed himself to a person inside, then took the victim's cell phone and student ID.

The suspect is identified as a black male, standing around 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing between 160 and 170 pounds. He was wearing a blue T-shirt with unidentified white writing on the front, tan pants or shorts and a red/green button with white letters that read 'Cougar Movers.'

He had no scars or tattoos visible.

The victim wasn't injured. UH police are actively investigating.
