Students transported to hospital after pepper spray discharged on Goose Creek ISD bus

BAYTOWN, TX (KTRK) -- More than a dozen children were transported to an area hospital after a student reportedly discharged pepper spray on a Goose Creek ISD school bus this morning.

According to the district, the bus was transporting students to Harlem Elementary School. Several students complained of being nauseous. Emergency responders came to check out the students. Thirteen of them were sent to a nearby hospital for evaluation.

Goose Creek ISD says the students will be released shortly. Their parents are being notified.
